2010: Thomsen was a member of the varsity men's baseball team last season...appeared in six games and started in two.

Before USMMA: Was a four-year member of the baseball squad at Alamogordo...lettered all four seasons...in his junior season, was named to the All-State Second-team...was tabbed to the All-District First-team during his senior campaign...from his sophomore to senior year, Thomsen was a member of the National Honors Society.

Personal: Born in Biloxi, Miss....son of Scott and Doreen Thomsen...has one brother, Blake (19)...majoring in Marine Engineering Systems.
