Ray Martel is in his 10th season calling USMMA football for the
Mariner Gridiron Network.
He is currently the producer of the Joe Benigno show, on New
York's WFAN Sportsradio 66. Ray began at WFAN in January of 1999
became the Overnight Producer in October 1999 and recently moved to
the mid day produer slot in December of 2005. He is also the Audio
Director of D3hoops.com.
Martel has called four women's basketball championships as well as
numerous NCAA games leading up to the finals. He also calls
Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Soccer and Lacrosse for the Army
Sports Network, in West Point. Ray is 31, married and resides in
Glen Oaks, Queens, NY.
